This is a ride out to attend the 2008 Calne
Motorcycle Meet on
Saturday 19th July 2008
We went there last year, and although it
rained, there were a great selection of Vintage bikes, food and other
entertainment.
It is all for charity and has a great atmosphere:

The plan is to meet at Poole Quay at 10:00 and the head off towards Calne.
The route should take about 1 1/2 - 2 Hours, and is mainly along the A350.
There are various routes home depending upon
your direct, speed and time.
Hopefully there will be a few of us who know the route, and thus have different
groups.

Calne is on the A4 which is a Wide and fairly
straight road.
But be warned, also known by the Wiltshire Police as being
a fast road and patrolled by not only cars,
bikes but also the Copper Chopper (Hence the large White dots on the road!)
